Revenue Accounting & Controls Manager (Remote - US only)

A mission-driven healthcare services company at a growth stage is hiring a hands-on finance leader to own revenue accounting and accounts receivable for its healthcare services business. You will act as the independent check on an outsourced revenue cycle management partner and build the reconciliations, dashboards and controls that keep cash flowing and reporting audit-ready. The role sits between finance, technology and operations and suits someone who enjoys digging into billing data to find root causes.

What you'll do

• Own the accuracy, completeness and reporting of healthcare services revenue and accounts receivable, and run a tight monthly close.
• Monitor the outsourced RCM vendor against contractual SLAs, payment posting accuracy and claim timelines, and drive remediation plans to resolution.
• Investigate unbilled services, underpayments, claim denials and reimbursement bottlenecks, and turn findings into process fixes that improve cash conversion.
• Identify integration gaps between RCM systems and NetSuite, and design automated reconciliation models, dashboards and internal controls to reduce manual work.
• Partner with operational and technology teams to challenge billing data assumptions and translate results into business actions.

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, plus 7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, concentrated in healthcare revenue and complex AR controls.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606, US healthcare reimbursement and claim-level mechanics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with modern financial reporting tools; NetSuite, Power BI or SQL experience is highly preferred.
• Direct experience overseeing financial performance and SLAs for external or outsourced vendors.
• CPA certification is highly preferred; outpatient healthcare or physical therapy industry background is also preferred.
