What you'll do

• Define and evolve success metrics for all user-facing features, including trade-offs between short-term and long-term user value.
• Define and maintain business metrics, semantic layers and data models so the team works from consistent, trusted numbers.
• Partner with data engineering to turn product requirements into scalable, reliable data assets.
• Turn analysis into clear recommendations that influence roadmap prioritization.
• Build a strong high-fidelity experimentation culture so successful changes can be scaled quickly.
• Use LLMs, agents and other AI tools to automate analysis, speed up experiments and build decision-support workflows.

What you need

• 5+ years of data science and product analytics experience.
• BS and/or MS in a quantitative field such as statistics, operations research, computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, physics or economics.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, or equivalent experience answering open-ended business questions with data.
• Solid applied statistics: hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, power analysis and causal inference.
• Experience delivering data products with data and product engineering teams, plus familiarity with modern analytics and experimentation tools.
• Clear written and verbal communication, able to explain statistical concepts to non-experts. Practical AI fluency is expected.
