Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Remote, Germany)

A German financial technology company with a large engineering organization is looking for a senior fullstack engineer to help develop and run its retail investing app. You will work in an agile team alongside product, UX, marketing, support and business colleagues. The role combines feature development with shared responsibility for production systems in a cloud environment.

What you'll do

• Build and extend features across the app, such as search, watchlists and savings plans, with your team
• Develop backend and frontend code using Java, MySQL and TypeScript on AWS
• Own the stability and performance of your services under a "you build it, you run it" model
• Provide third-level support to the business side when issues escalate
• Monitor systems and operational dashboards to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and planning in Scrum or Kanban teams

What you need

• Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Several years of experience building web applications, ideally with Spring Boot plus Angular or Flutter
• Experience running cloud-based systems, ideally on AWS
• Good working knowledge of TypeScript
• Experience with Scrum or Kanban, and with tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken (at least C1)
