Senior iOS Engineer (Remote - Worldwide)

This is a senior mobile engineering role at a consumer app company with a large, long-lived iOS codebase. You will own member-facing features from design through release and work closely with product, design, data science and server engineering. The team places a strong emphasis on interaction quality, performance and the long-term health of the app.

What you'll do

• Build and own core member-facing features end to end, from scoping to launch.
• Set architectural patterns for the iOS app and solve difficult client-side lifecycle and state management problems.
• Design APIs and client-server state sync with backend engineers, keeping data correct across the app.
• Partner with product, design and data science to run experiments and refine interaction, motion and performance details.
• Improve performance, testing practices and tech debt across a large Swift codebase.
• Monitor production health for core flows, triage crashes and maintain release quality.

What you need

• 7+ years of professional iOS development experience with strong Swift, UIKit and MVVM skills.
• Strong experience with RxSwift or similar reactive programming frameworks.
• A track record of shipping consumer mobile apps to large audiences, with solid judgment on architecture, performance and UX.
• Ability to lead projects from concept through launch and take ownership of what ships after release.
• Regular use of AI coding tools in daily work, with interest in helping a team adopt them.
• Strong consumer product sense and a high standard for design quality.
